Well, Hurricane Ike is VERY clsoe now...just off the coast of Texas. We're bracing for it, but should be far enough north to not have to worry about it much. Our family is visiting from down near the coast, our cousins (well....first cousins once removed/second cousins to Traci and I, and second cousins once removed/second cousins for the kids) are here with their family and pets. We're hunkered down and waiting it out.
As of 5:55PM Central time, just a VERY light breeze, a little cloudy, no rain, and lots of high expectations...not to mention anticipation.
Anyway, check back frequently...I'll try to keep this updated.
